Today I got mostly clothes, a couple pairs of shoes, and a
Yahtzee. And my stocking had socks (:?:), deodorant (again, :?: ) and of course tons of candy. Yesterday though, I did get a remote for my TV, a booklight, and a $10 gift card to a local pizza place.

What to DO, what to DO...Debi handed me a C-note. Now, all I have to figure out is how to spend it.

We had a pretty good Christmas. 3 of our sons got Nintendo DS consoles and a cell phone + misc stocking stuffers, the 4th got a stereo for his room + cell phone. Wifey and I got assorted clothes; perfume, a new purse, and christmas nick nacks for her, a cordless drill, running shoes, and a few hand tools for me.

We also all got over a NASTY case of stomach virus just in time for christmas. A couple days ago it wasn't pretty around here.

I had a great Christmas, too. I always enjoy seeing a lot of family members we don't see too often.

I got XM2GO... the new portable satellite radio. It rocks!

I also got Wicked collector's edition book.

I got other stuff, but those two were sooo awesome. :P

I don't know yet! My kids were at their dad's this Christmas; my brother and his family spent the holiday with his in-laws, and my mother (an RN at the local hospital) worked the 11-7 shift all weekend. Christmas eve consisted of my father and me watching some movie on TV; we are having our family present opening chaos next Sunday. I hate not having the kids with me every other year for the holidays, but I suppose their dad is entitled :P ; at our house the presents for the adults are negligible, anyway - the kids are the ones that get all of the GOOD stuff LOL!

I think my ex and I even managed not to duplicate any presents this year - we always discuss what we got for them, but it seems every year we mess us and one kid gets two of something - one from each of us!

Nothing like a 3 year old and a 1 year old on Christmas morning to remind you of those years gone by! We had SO much fun. I was the photographer/video specialist, so I got all the footage and snapshots of the "event." Another Christmas with "reasonable health" and surrounded by family and grandkids.

Youngest son was responsible for recapping the year "for the record" and at one point all six adults were into the tissues. Poppysky had to stop reading for a bit...as it is hard to do when you choke up! A caring and compassionate family is a wonderful gift...one that just can't be topped.

Wife and I share only a small gift with each other, but it was nonetheless a really good one for all of us.

Took a drive to Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills on Christmas Eve...and then a walk on the streets. Beautiful day there.

Even got to come face to face with movie star Chris O'Donnell (and apparently his young son) who stepped out of the elevator as we were stepping in.

Santa was good to all of us...but like all of you, we were not without our share of health, work, family, and other challenges this year.

Guess that makes it all the better when the day arrives and all is well for a few hours at least.

Yes, and he was really good to my kids this year. I got a coffee maker that makes single cups of coffee when you want a fresh cup. An evening purse with shaw to wear during Mardi Gras this year. And my computer that I got back in April. It was an early Christmas present. 8-)

Oh and did I mention we are going to Disney World on the 2nd of January and then down to Naples, FL.

My cousin called me last night. Wanted to know how my mom was doing and what Santa gave me. I told him.... mom. Glad she was around for another Christmas! :) Other than that.....a book from hubby...HURRICANE WATCH by Dr. Sheets and Jack Williams. He also got me (on order) The book by Jack Williams "The USA Today Weather Book". I think he has figured out I'm a nut!!! :D Clothes, perfume and a big time on Christmas Eve with family and mom at the rest home. Man, couldn't have asked for better!

Merry Christmas and God Bless

So much for the "C-note"; "borrowed" so that she could go to STL, visit my stepdaughter and her kids, and take them out for dinner.

Will I ever see the like again? I'm not holding my breath.

Well, after spending over $3k in gifts for my family and others, I'd say we had a great x-mas. Macy's, Dillards have been good to me and my wife.
