My point is only that it's not automatically stupid to risk your life for a return when others do it honorably with no expectation of a return. And as it turns out, the contractors are just as important to success in iraq as teh soldiers are. Someone's got to do it. If I were younger and single (single being the more important criterion), I'd be there. That's all. :)

I agree that a high school kid shouldn't be there. I even said so in my original post. ;)

That said, I bet he lands himself a nice high-powered journalism job right after high school based on this adventure.

Fortune favors the bold. But there's such a thing as being too bold. If I was this guy who could physically pass for an Iraqi, and went to Iraq I would have a passing knowledge of arabic and work on my accent beforehand and get rid of the nike tennis shoes. :lol:
