Zeta, but not far behind Epsilon. My favorite of all is Omicron. It just sounds so ominous and foreboding.

I would have to go with Epsilon. It certainly sounds cool enough and not to mention, the discussions from the NHC on the storm were very entertaining!

Zeta.

Why?

Catherine ZETA Jones. At least it sounds like a person's name too.

Such a shame this isn't heading towards Wales given this story from a while ago. http://icwales.icnetwork.co.uk/0100news/0200wales/tm_objectid=16174251&method=full&siteid=50082&headline=wales-faces--catastrophic-hurricane--name_page.html

Never heard that Maria was the first hurricane ever to hit Britain. Haven't there been others doing similar things to what she did? And wasn't she ET at the time?

I'm going with Alpha for two basic reasons:

1.) It was the first time in the history of named Atlantic Storms that we went beyond the standard alphabet letters, and Alpha was the first.

2.Say it twice and it's close to the name of Li'l Rascal Alphalpha!

Otherwise I'd go with Zeta because HAD we used ALL 26 letters, then this one would be the first going beyond the alphabet---simply unbelievable!

I like Gamma......It sounds like an outer space thing. Gamma rays, x-rays and all those other rays out there.
