Convection is being sheared off to the NW attm... but if the westerlies slow a bit there is the potential for development, this one does bear watching!

That is hilarious..I am still waiting for anyone to confirm or disprove this spin I see...It may be an idividual cell spinning but I was zoomed in really close! :roll: At any rate the front would get it before it develops anyway :wink:

Thanks for the info! :cheesy: Upon further investigation, I have discovered that something can go from a convective fart to a tropical storm or hurricane very quickly in the minds of a wishcaster. :roll: :lol:

Then they must have a powerful mind..I hope you weren't talking about me..I am a novice in the tropics and only posted what I thought I saw.. :roll: :roll: And asked foir expert advice.. Convection in the GOM seems to be dying down..it will be absorbed by the front coming down..Appears south florida will have a wet night! :wink:

Yep the tops are warming indicating weakening of the area but rain is a sure bet for parts of the gulf coast and south florida but nothing to develop into tropical depression.
