I am in Naples and Disney

We went to Disney yesterday. We had so much fun. We stayed until the park closed and drove down to Sun City Center. This morning we got up and drove the Gulf Route down to Naples. We went arrived in Naples about 4pm. The hotel is....well paradise. I am typing on dh's computer that he uses for work. I have never seen a place like this. And Naples is beautiful.

I'll be at Disneyworld Jan. 13-16 for the 5th year in a row. Gotta love the uda national dance championship! At least this year the university is paying the way for the dancers!

It is so nice down here. Disney World was really fun and they still had it decorated for the holidays. Cajun mama go down to Disney Downtown. It is neat. You will have a great time in Disney. There is so many new things since I went in the early 80s.

We are getting ready to go downtown Naples and the beach. We are staying at the Bellasera Resort. It is so nice. Like I said I have never stayed in a place this nice.

Wow, you haven't been since the 80's??? ALOT has changed down there. It's like their own little town they have going there. I agree, Downtown Disney is a fun place to go. I do much prefer Sea World over Disney though, that is where we get passes to every year. Much more laid back, and the kids seem to enjoy it as much if not more than Disney. But I know if you are coming to Orlando, Disney is first on most peoples list. Enjoy the Beach!

We are going to the beach this afternoon but we just got from downtown Naples. It is beautiful down there. They have really done a lot of work to clean up from Wilma. Just a few signs that there was a hurricane here and you really have to look for it. The people down here are so nice too. I love it! I took tons of pictures while walking with the girls. David is in meetings all day. I am planning to take the shuttle from the hotel down to the beach. I am looking forward to it. If Naples is this beautiful I can only imagine what the beach looks like. I know why people want to live in South Florida. It is absolutely awesome.

And on Disney. It has changed a lot since I was there in the 80s but it was also good seeing a few of the same rides that I rode on as a child. I enjoyed sharing those with my girls and telling them stories about how their papa got me sick on the tea cups and almost tossing my cookies at the restaurnant near Space Mountain because my parents took me on it.

We are leaving tomorrow morning to go back to Fairhope and I think I might just have to protest not going back. Of course I know that will not happen since we have to be out of the hotel by 11am and David wants to go hunting in Central Alabama on Saturday. Plus I go back to work on Monday after being out for almost 3 weeks.
