Twelfth Night...Mardi Gras Season Begins!
Mardi Gras season officially kicks off today and I'm going to the first ball of the season tonight....Krewe de Carnivale en Rio. I get to put on my fancy ball clothes and wear the dreaded high heels! I plan on resting my feet the rest of the weekend! Ciao!!!!!

It rained and rained and rained and rained all day today but did it rain on our parade? NO!!!!!! I was impressed with the crowds that showed up. I'm exhausted and cold...as silly as it seems it is hard work throwing beads for 2 hours!!!!! But i'd do it again in a heartbeat!!!!
Bre...how was the ball?
