WHEW!!! Those were the LONGEST 2 DAYS of MY LIFE I'm tellin' ya!! I COULD NOT access the board what so EVER........I tried and tried till I was BLUE in the FACE for 2 days, did a google search for Storm2K, came up with the main page then clicked on forums and I kept getting this weird message, thought "Holy Crap, ANOTHER virus!" :grr: I have a shortcut to my desktop for the board and the same THING...

ANYWAYS........HAPPY to be back and Marshall, here's to you dude :notworthy:

I wasn't sure if it had been a hacker or not...given no topic mention here at Off-Topic or at Board News.

Yes, it's great to be BACK! :D

Thank you VERY much, Marshall and Chad! :D

Not sure what was going on because we only had a small group that we were aware of that were having problems yesterday, at least until late last night when we apparently lost the server for a while. After the server came back up is when everyone apparently quit having the problems. Anyway, whatever it was it is good to have everyone back.

I noticed for every topic and PM, I had to download it first. I cancelled each one. Within 10 minutes or so Safari couldn't load the site. That's when I began emailing Eric and he said he had trouble too! Long story short, S2K was only out of commission for a short while for me. Much longer apparently for you Dennis and Eric, as well.

Strange indeed!

It started late morning Saturday...not all of us were here obviously at that time...so that's why others wouldn't have known about it until later via PM or email.

Was there an email, announcing the site was down or up again? Because if so, I didn't get one!

I did email David but he said it was fine.

I guess what both Eric and I wonder about is, why did some of us have trouble but not all members?

I just know that I was posting fine until up to around 10:30 or 11 am ET and at the time was in the Weather Attic having clicked the reply/send button and the screen just came up with a white background and some kind of technical jargon message...wish I knew the exact wording...but forget now what it said.

There was no email on the late night problem as we had so few affected. I responded to the emails I got about the earlier in the day problems like you said Mary.

I didn't have any problems except for a brief outage of the server late last night.

Glad y'all are back though. Weird. *plays Twilight Zone music*
