Hey guys...
I am going for my follow up appointment this afternoon. Hoping I am cleared today to resume normal activities. However, they may decide they want to do a cystoscopy in the next week or two, but compared to what I went through almost a month ago, that's minor. Please pray for me as I take on the next step in this entire thing.

Just returned from the hospital and the news is semi-good.
No more surgeries are planned. BUT...there's gonna be a 24 hour hospital stay toward the end of the month...they do want to make sure everything is going smoothly and to take the foley catheter that is currently in place in the new passageway out. However, there is nothing else planned at this time and it looks like I will go home the next day.

Sounds reasonable to me, after all you've been thru Jeremy. At least it's not more surgery, and that's a good thing.
Have you been able to keep up with your class schedule or did you have to take this semester off?
All in all, it sounds like things have been going as expected (recovery wise) and I'm so relieved for you! Except those sleep issues.....which can get all out of whack, how well I know. Hopefully by now you're sleeping much better.

I'd already taken the semester off to deal with this when it had originally been scheduled for February. When it was re-scheduled, I was told with 6 weeks of recovery, I was not going to be able to return to school until summer. So, I continued with my original plan to take time off.
The one thing I am looking forward to about this hospital stay is that I am not likely to need an IV. It's a vacation within a vacation for me, because it gives me a night to myself.

You know I will. Hopefully things go well tomorrow and tomorrow night. If it works out, I could be out of the hospital midday Friday. My plan right now is that if they will allow me to do so, I will check myself out of the hospital when I leave. Otherwise, I would have to wait for my mom and, as much as I think it would be a good break from home, the hospital is not really where I will want to be after Friday morning.
