Shannon (POJO) is Coming Home! NOW IN THE STATES!!!!
Here's here message to me this morning. As she requested, I am sharing it with you. We are all proud of her service, and we wish her a safe trip back home to the states.
Auf Wiederzen.... good bye!!!!! In the words of Ozzie Osbourne……. Momma, I’m coming home! (You have to sing it!)
My tour has ended and after many connecting flights; Friday night I’ll be back in Charleston with our tour ALMOST complete. I have to drive back up to Milwaukee about a week later and then all will be happy again!
I will see you guys when I get home!!!!!
Off to the flight.

Yes, I am STATESIDE!!!
but I'm NOT home yet. We have up to 2 weeks here in Charleston for de-briefing/inprocessing/outprocessing before we head back to Milwaukee for a couple more days of inprocessing/debriefing. Hopefully I can get a medical eval on my bothersome left foot, that might keep me here in Charleston for a few days extra.
There was a massive cheer when we left Qatar and when we arrived in Baltimore!!!! Thank goodness we are home! We also we recognized on the BWI-CLT connection that allowed us to deplane earlier than everyone else... that was cool. We had a rough landing in Charlotte... the cross winds caused massive turbulence that in turn caused us ALL to have White knuckles upon landing.
Thank you for everything! It was appreciated.
