Another request for prayers

I got home from work tonight and found out my MIL was in the ER at the hospital due to some severe stomach pains. Long story short we just got back from the hospital after the doctor performed surgery for what turned out to be a perforated diverticulum. She is now in recovery and will be in the hospital a week. They have her on a ventilator as a precaution but will start trying to wean her off of it tomorrow evening once she is awake from the anesthesia. This is her second surgery in less than a year and she is 88 years old. Hopefully she will recover quickly. Her name is Vivian McCoy. Please pray for comfort for her and a full and speedy recovery.

Thanks everyone for your prayers for my MIL. She is resting comfortably after the surgery but is still heavily sedated.

For some reason my MIL's Oxygen Saturation levels are not staying up and the doctors put her back on a mask for Oxygen this evening. She was also acting strange, which could have been due to he pain meds. Just updating and asking for continued prayers for her recovery.

The prayers are working!!! She is improving and will begin a liquid diet tomorrow(past the water she has been allowed). It will take her a while to recover since She is 88 yrs. old, but she is one tough woman!!
