I've noticed that the site has been redesigned and fixed. Do you like the new look, layout, and features of Storm2K so far or not?

I'm not crazy about the fact that you can't see the time of the last reply to a post and the person that replied.

WELL....kinda!

The screen is TOO large :ggreen:
you have to scroll over to
the right to see the whole
post, that's why I'm
typing in short sentences....
but other than that, it's fine!

In my opinion, the new design looks nice, and there are some useful features added. However, there are some drawbacks, such as scrolling over to read the entire posts, which others mentioned. There are also some other problems on the placing of features. Also, the board layout is slightly too wide, and you have scroll over as with the posts.

Is subSilver the only option for layout now? I really liked the subRebel option, particularly because the avatars were not visible so it made for an easier read (for me).

I can see the time of the last reply and who replied, both in the forum index and within each forum. hmm...I'm assuming that's what you mean and I don't know why it doesn't show up for you.

I know that this is supposedly designed for 1024x768 windows (which I have), but the frame (everything outside of the white background) is making it so that I have to scroll over to see the last two characters of the post. Just a touch annoying, and the only issue I've noticed.

Would you mind elaborating a little so we know exactly what you mean? :)

I see several comments on having to scroll over to read all of the posts. I don't know what can be done about it, but I'm sure Chad or Marshall will let us know.

I think she's referring to having to scroll over to read it.

Actually, there are not many problems on placing of features anymore. Those problems seem to have been fixed now. However, in the quick reply area, there are no buttons to select words in bold, italic, or underlined. There is also buttons to select links or images for them to show up. Those are the main problems right now. Can that be fixed or edited?

Yeah I agree about the bold, italic, underline buttons, but if you know how to do those it really isn't a problem.

Yes definitely the scrolling across is difficult... and my screen resolution is 1024 x 768.

Everything else I like. :D

Right cyc.

They're not supposed to be there. It's just a Quick Reply option for when you don't need those features. If you want more options, just click on the "post reply" button. :)
