Tonight I fixed a recipe that a friend gave me.
1. Brown some cube steaks on one side and place in a baking pan browned side up.
2. Place a slice of provolone cheese on top of the meat.
3. Take one jar of bottled spaghetti sauce and take one tablespoon of sauce and place on top of each slice of cheese.
4. Stir 1-2 tbsp of flour into remaing spaghetti sauce until no white remains. The spoon around the meat and in between the pieces of meat. Then Bake at 350 for 45-60 minutes.
I fixed this with rice and collard greens. You can flour the meat if you choose to but it is not necessary. But if you do, you can add a small amount of basil and oregano to the flour.

Sounds different daylilly. I don't know if hubby would go for that though, he likes his just fried up with white gravy and mashed taters. But I think I would like it.
Tonight its pork chops, rice and peas. The pork chops are in the crock pot now with creme of mushroom soup, I serve it with white rice and put the gravy(soup) over the rice and chops. The kids all love the peas so thats why its peas. This is a meal everyone likes and plates will be licked clean.

O Town, give it a try one day. It can be served with both rice and mashed potatoes. The sauce acts as the gravy. Your reciupe with the pork chops in the crock pot sound good but I would leave out the peas. No one here but hubby like those little peas. He only likes them in what my mom ussed to call pea salad.
Tonight we will have chicken and some other sides , I haven't decided on thos yet.

Ya know I never liked peas either, ecspecially as a kid, don't understand why that is the one vegi all 3 of my girls like.
Every other vegi one of the 3 don't like. Getting vegi's in them everyday can be a challenge. They all will eat raw carrots with ranch though. I can only make the peas once a week though, hubby and I get burned out on them.
