David,

After reading your post in the link you provided (I'm not a member there) the Mom in me just had to come out. Especially when I read how young you are. Please lean on all of us here if you need to. Vent away, anything, life is just too precious to take lightly. I will pray things get much better for you. You certainly haven't offended me in any way. So please keep posting and try your best to think positive.

Sincerely,

David,
I am a "little" older than you but I have been down suicide alley more than once. I am only sharing this because I have taken my experiences in life, both good and bad, and use them to counsel and help those who don't really know where to turn. You will be in my prayers. My AIM is posted here in my profile and I open the door for you to use it ANYTIME. One thing I have found is that the internet is a great place to "talk" about things one may have trouble saying face to face. If you need anything, please don't hesitate. I MEAN THAT!

God bless you my friend!!

You have some painful memories behind you, David, but a whole world out in front of you. And I have learned over the years that people who appreciate and enjoy the study of weather have that as a wonderful gift.

There is no time like the present to use the experiences of the past to take you into a better and brighter future.

There are some good folks here who can give an opinion or share some kind words, and all of that helps as you find your way down the road toward your future.

As Mary said, use us when you need us.

Yeah, I've had my share of AWFUL memories, namely being evicted from an apartment for no reason.

David, I can't even BEGIN to imagine growing up in todays society with the violence, the drugs, the PEER PRESSURE, My God........I shutter at the thought of the peer pressure these days. You have done very well and I KNOW you will continue on. I don't think there's one person alive who hasn't thought about taking his/her own life, HANG IN THERE David, like the song "Lean on me, when your not strong!"

David I just want to echo everyone's comments. Life throws you curve balls and even a few bean balls on the way. You just need to have faith in God, Yourself and your friends. :-) My mom used to like the saying "that which doesn't kill you makes you stronger" ! You just have to pick yourself up and dust yourself off every now and then. You have a big extended family here that is more than willing to lend a hand! Just let us know and we'll be there for you bud!

David - suicide is NOT the way to go hon! You have too much in front of you to look forward to - REALLY! We all know how tough it is being a teenager and it's even harder now. Don't ever feel funny about asking for help or dropping a line to any of us here and it is okay to get medical help as well. As Gulf had mentioned, I've had my own thoughts of suicide, but mine had to do with chronic depression. I'm on medication for it and have been for the last 12 or 13 years. I wish I sought help sooner than that. I never thought I could feel as good and HAPPY as I do now.

Again, if there's anything we can do to help you, please let us know!

Amen. I too have felt like life wasn't worth the pain. But I never came close to ending it all. I believe all will work out for you in the end, YOU just have to believe it.

I've found out that I have a life infront of me, and i'm glad I didn't kill myself. Sometimes, the stress gets a little overhwhelming, and we've all felt that in 1 time or another.

Again, thanks for the support. :)
