HELP! Website would not close; claimed I did illegal thing

I did a google search for a weatherman video...I went to a websites...but unfortunately
one of the links on the sites took me to a site- that said it was "illegal" to access- and my screen was flooded with bad words, and IP was being
recorded- I tried to click out of it but the site would not let me close
out stuff kept popping up!

But it's not my fault I was trying to close out the website but it
wouldn't let me and next time I opened my browser- it said my
illegal activities where recorded-
but the website kept shooting pop-ups and wouldn't let me closed
when I hit the close button more links opened and it said I was
accessing illegal sites and that the words (Bad words) were recording
on my computer and could be tracked.

I never typed these words in in the first place it kept popping up...
Is the site a phoney...or can I get in trouble because some stupid
pop-ups opened illegal sites that would not let me close out of them?

Don't worry, it's just some web hacker having fun with his website.

Nothing you did was illegal in any way. And further, even if you did something illegal and the government were tracking you for whatever reason, they sure as heck wouldn't warn you about it.

It sounds like you were invaded by an unscrupulous site. You computer probably has a load of spyware or a virus on it now. Time for a good cleaning.
