A few of my shots from previous winters in Watertown, NY. I would love to see this kind of snow again, that is why I am doing everything in my power to get into Syracuse University next year! I can't describe in words how much I miss my walks in the snow or watching it fall outside the windows of my house...
Anyways, a few pics for memory's sake!
View out of the front window of my house-
View out the back window of my house-
This is a major highway, Interstate 81 during LES-
This is in Pulaski, NY. The two cars pictured had just collided-
Also in Pulaski, NY-

I was just thinking the same thing decgirl! Great to look at but makes me feel glad I live here in Florida, I can leave my house whenever I want and not have to worry about snow on cars, or in the roads. But again, it is awfully georgous to look at, or visiting may be nice.

OK...as of this week, three months without rain. Still, there is something wonderful about winter in the desert Southwest. I took this photo a couple of Saturdays ago...and it clearly tells you why the snowbirds come to see the sunshine.
This was taken about four miles north of my home in northeast Phoenix.
Now, it IS going to drop below freezing a few mornings this week, so even we will need to dress for it!
But leave your thick mitties behind if you decide to join the other 700,000 folks who fly or drive this way this time of year.
Speaking of driving...check out the Barrett-Jackson car auction on the Speed Channel to get an even better look at my "neighborhood". It's less than 2 miles from my "place in the sun."
