Hazarad Weather Outlook for Beaufort Sc

.STRONG THUNDERSTORMS...SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE
EXPECTED TO DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING AHEAD OF A STRONG
COLD FRONT. A FEW OF THESE STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LARGE
HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS.

Doesent look to serious but a few areas could get some severe weather.

Blue box now in effect for a large portion of the southeast, with the strongest storm approaching the Columbus, GA area attm. Elevated DBZmax (~70) and VILs now exceeding 25kg/m2 indicates hail threat likely increasing with this storm -- not SVR-warned yet though.

   THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A
   SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF
   
          SOUTHERN ALABAMA
          WESTERN FLORIDA PANHANDLE
          CENTRAL AND SOUTHWESTERN GEORGIA
          COASTAL WATERS
   
   EFFECTIVE THIS MONDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 125 PM UNTIL 800
   PM EST.
   
   HAIL TO 2 INCHES IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS TO 70
   MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.

Last night a severe Thunderstorm warning was issued for Charleston County in SC. I was walking home from mcfdonalds when storm hit.
