The case study of a hurricane that was kept from substantial weakening over the cold waters of the Labrador Current, by it's surrounding baroclinically enhanced environment. An interesting, and frightening read, for those in New England and the Maritimes.

It's very interesting the fact that Michael intensified over very cold waters.
