A statewide Amber Alert has been issued for a Cleveland, Ohio toddler believed to have been abducted by a suspect who police say is a known sex offender with a history of violence.

Police say 24-month-old Joshua Bryant was last seen Sunday morning around 5:45 a.m. (EST).

Child's description:

Black male
3' tall, 39 pounds
Brown hair, brown eyes
Wearing white tank top and white underwear
The suspect, Cory Locke, is believed to be driving a white 1992 Saturn with Ohio license plates: DFM 1543.

Police say Locke is a convicted sexual predator, who has served 20-months in Washington State on rape charges.

Suspect's description:

Black male, 35-years-old
5'10" tall, 210 pounds
Black hair, brown eyes
The suspect was last seen heading westbound on I-90 from East 55th Street in Cleveland.
