Suicide is, IMHO, never an option. I've been in some tough times in my life and periods of depression and anxiety, but I can trust myself never to commit suicide because I know that even if most of my life ends up being terrible (which I don't believe it is, but at times when you feel really bad, you might be tempted to assume so), at least part of it in the future will be worth it. I've found, though, that despite the bad, there is so much in life that is worthwhile. And I have also found that things can always change, no matter how bad they are, if you have people to help you and you are willing to help yourself. Live is too precious and wonderful to waste because of a temporary problem.

David, you'll have times in your life that are both good and bad ... but suicide should NEVER be an option ... remember to think about the ones you love and the ones that love you the most and how it would affect them as well. I'm very happy to see that you chose not to attempt suicide.

Everyone here knows life isn't fair and plays by its own rules, but just remember to grab life by the throat sometimes because it's the only one you get, and do the best to make it best you can ...

There are many of us that are here, including myself, which have been down some very rough times, and some of us including myself wondering about the very same thing ... I'll tell you, though, that I may not necessarily be a very happy person, I've had some very good times, and some very special memories including my meeting with someone I met from another message board (believe it or not) and she and I shared a weekend which gave both of us a lifetime of memories in just 2 short days. The moral of my post here is, don't sell yourself out before you've really had a chance to experience the best things that life can offer ... and follow your dreams and reach for the stars...

I think it goes without saying, you have many friends here. I have had my share of hard times, and trust me, you do get through it.

David, Menasha High School has a coincidental streak of deaths among the sophomore class... The streak is up to 4...from 1998-2001... one per year. A senior was killed about a month ago, which makes the death count up to 5. The reason I say this is because I lost a good friend to suicide... No warning signs, nothing! It was hard and to this day I still cry around Easter because that's when she took her own life.

Suicide is NOT an option. IMO, its NEVER an option! When you take your own life, its hard on your family and friends. Life will never be the same. Just because you've come to a dead end, doesn't mean that life ends at that moment. It doesn't...just turn around and figure out how to solve or maneover around the problem. I've had some rough times in my life, where I felt that I was pushed to the brim, but without that harsh parental guidance, I would not be in college, nor trying to achieve a meteorological goal that I set forth my senior year of high school.

I am very happy to see the posts for our friend David. :D I know you are a great person, I am very happy to correspond with you and look forward to our continued interactions online.

As many of you know I have a condition, but thankfully have never attempted suicide. I go with the flow every day and appreciate my frequent time online with all the great people here on Storm2K.
