Tortilla soup. Bought it at the farmers market in a pkt. Had a sample there and it was awesome. Never had a soup with tortillas in it. Mexicany and spicy. It has italian sausage in it, rice, tomatoes, and a bunch of spices. Also we will probably have a salad.

Tonight was a salad, with a ribeye steak for me a sirloin steak for everyone else but the grandson had a very thin New York strip. Steaks were seared in cast iron skillet to color them and then put in oven to finish cooking with 4 minutes on one side and then turned over and 2 more minutes in oven. Perfect rare steaks. Son and Daughter's were set in fridge till they get off from work. I converted leftover potato soup into mashed potatoes with the addition of some instant potato flakes. I also had a eggplant parmesean to go with everything.

if you can find chorizo, you might want to try it with that one time in lieu of italian sausage.
