I just want to like jump out a window right now lol. this winter has been so terrible and now I thought we would have a chance to get some snow in Keene... flurries really right now and tons of the heavy stuff all to the south. this is just too depressing.
here's some of the latest spotter reports: (I have absolutely NO idea how Rindge, NH has 3 inches cuz I can tell you here in Keene we sure dont)

Still snowing here, 24 degrees and some wind.
The snow is heavy. Alot of the trees and shrubs are bending over. One local television station said we had 5" of snow here.
I have NO IDEA who they received that from or at what time. I'd say we received a good 8 - 9 inches of snow or more.
It's a beautiful sight!

WOW! I wonder if this will be able to reach or surpass the 1947 storm?

Just talked with family from Southington, Connecticut )12 miles south of Hartford) 24" on the ground and still coming down. They said to expect another 6"-12" before it's over with. Here is a link to some traffic cams in Connecticut http://www.ct.gov/dot/cwp/view.asp?a=23 ... 4&dotNav=|

I agree...I missed another one...in 1978, I left for the Service 2 days before the Blizzard of 78...now I'm in Florida and contend with Hurricanes instead.weathermom wrote:Windtalker1, my family is in Wallingford. I am expecting they will have much more than I do, it looked like the heavy band hung over central CT much longer than it was here in North Jersey. I can't complain though, 14+ is enough to shovel.
