Record daily maximum snowfall set at Boston february 12 2006
A record snowfall of 17.5 inches was set at Boston today February 12 2006. This breaks the Old record of 11.5 inches set 23 years ago on this date in 1983.
This was the 11th greatest snowstorm total since official records have been kept in 1892. It is the greatest snowstorm total since January 22-23 2005 when 22.5 inches accumulated.
Record snowstorm for Bradley International airport today
Heavy snow fell at Bradley International airport in Windsor Locks Connecticut today.
The snow total for todays storm was 21.9 inches. This Reading sets several records, including the all time highest snowstorm total since records began in 1905.
The 21.9 inch total sets a record for February 12. The previous record was 11.9 inches set in 1983. This also sets a record daily snowfall for any date. The previous record was 17.7 inches set on December 29 1945.
Todays snowfall sets a record for the all time snowstorm in Windsor Locks. The previous record was 21.0 inches set on February 11-12 1983.
Record daily maximum snowfall set at TF Green airport in Providence RI February 12th
A record daily snowfall of 9.4 inches was set at Providence today. this breaks the Old record of 8.0 inches set in 1910.
Record daily maximum snowfall set at the Worcester regional airport February 12 2006
A record snowfall of 16.9 inches was set at Worcester today. This breaks the Old record of 11.4 set 23 years ago on this date in 1983.
Hartford, along with NYC, made history today

Hi guys,
We got about 13.5" total here in DC. Got a question though....I have friends in both NYC and Fairfield, CT. Both places supposedly picked up 27", but my friends in those places have been saying it was nowhere near that amount??

Not accusing them of LYING, but just wondering if anyone else in those areas from this board have similar totals (2feet+)?

I have a friend that confirms the newton center total.
Parents in central CT got approx 2 feet, family just outside of Hartford got about 18"
