No matter how many times I see this stuff - whether in person or on video - I am STILL in awe... Even driving through my own neighborhood, stuff I see every day, I am still amazed - nearly six months later.

Thanks for the link...

Here's a home video taken from Chalmette, it is frightening. It was taken by an RN working at a St. Bernard Hospital when the storm struck. You can hear the voice of a child in the background--thank God they were rescued later from the roof over the second floor--unbelievable is still the only word to describe all this tragedy.

I was in Lakeview on Friday. Along Canal Blvd. and Robert E. Lee Blvd. you can see bombed out houses from Katrina that are now crumbling due to the tornadoes from a couple of weeks ago. Ugh.

This is a long but scary video that was posted on another forum. The Hurricane Katrina scenes, before and during the storm, were shot from the St. Bernard Parish Government Complex in South East Louisiana. The post Katrina destruction scenes were from all over St. Bernard Parish.

Warning.... this is not a sugar coated video and some may find it hard to watch. I did!
