I see a lot of rain contaminated winds...but no closed circulation...it does look like some heavy convection, but you see that in alot of waves...I'm not raising my "OMG We Are All Going To Die" banners until either I see something noteworthy or the NHC says something about the "system" just my $0.02

That post just earned you one gold star.

I see nothing at all near 4S/0W or 10W, or 10E. Just a few showers there. Now I DO see a big circulation center near 20S/20E over Africa that looks interesting, but it's completely over land.

depending on what your using it for...it is either...in this case, we are looking for a low level circulation...as you need it to be declared even somewhat tropical...

I agree it got destroyed by the shear/sinking air...But the area over Africa is very interesting in appears to be moving westward. That reminds me of some tropical cyclone clare before it moved over water. have to watch for development.

If it can move out into the Atlantic in holds its own if not develop more...Then I think we might be adding 2006 to 1991,2004...Heck that thing has good to very good banding.

Nothing. Systems in the South Atlantic are not officially named under WMO guidelines.

Here is an update (Wed., 06:00 UTC):

Nothing left in the upper left. An organized system near 20S 20E, but completly over land and I see no chance that it will move over water today or tomorrow. I will watch this system.

I also noticed that 20s/20e circulation..Especially since that is the general area where troughs come down from when they affect us (Cape Town)
