Moderator: S2k Moderators
Ahhhhh Auntie. I'm sooo happy for you. When you go shopping buy 12 months or 24 months. He's going to grow by leaps and bounds and they'll be so happy to have the larger sizes. We need to see some pictures too. I'm sure you won't be taking many, but if you could force yourself to take one for us. lol ((HUGS)) my friend. Being an Auntie is terrific!!!

Thanks everyone!
Daren just sent pictures to us this morning. He's healthy alright!!
I won't be home this evening, but I will get them posted in Photobucket and share them with you.
Karan - I was going to go out and get AT LEAST the 12 month size.
My Mom's fiance said at that length, he could probably walk out of the hospital by himself!

I kind of created a nickname for myself amongst some of the Mods as "Spiderlady", as in "sitting here, waiting like a spider for the next TROLL that comes along!"
Anyway, thanks everyone! Alicia-w, we aren't sure if Mason's size was a sign of the future (as in your case) or he'll be average height, weight, etc. Both parents are tall (Daren is 6'1" and Karen is like 5'11") but thin.

I'll see if there's a cuter one around.
I brought my Mom up to see him for the first time today. Karen's parents were there as well. He's got a double chin, chubby cheeks, but when they unwrapped him to change his diaper, you could see how long his legs were and his torso. He didn't have "tootsie roll" legs. His proportions were just right for his length and weight. He slept most of the time and was grunting alot, especially after everytime you moved your arm. It was like he was "talking" to you.
Anyway let me introduce you to Mason Wicks;

Thanks everyone!
I saw him for the first time on Friday and what you see in the picture is what you see in real life. He does have long legs - he's proportioned very well.
I'm going up again next Sunday with my other brother and his family and my Mom to see them again.
I went shopping at Kohl's on Saturday to get him more clothes - his length and weight suggested clothing for 3 month old babies.
