Spring has arrived in Florida

#1 Postby Taffy » Sun Feb 26, 2006 1:41 pm

Winter is all over for Florida, I can just feel it. My oak tree has leafed out all of the sudden and my Frangipani tree is throwing leaf buds. The birds are singing up a storm all day long. It is just wonderfull to watch it all unfold.
Anyone else experienceing Spring yet?

its slowly beginning here in SE Texas as well. The last two days were chilly and rainy with highs in the 50s, but today it is sunny and in the 60s and all next week we are expecting partly sunny skies and highs in the 70s. The trees are also budding and the birds are singing as well. I would say we are on track for Spring! :D

Today was kind of a delay for spring. Felt pretty chilly out. Right now only 60 with a stiff 20 mph wind. But next week upper 70's low 80's the flowers should bloom soon.

The Bradford Pear trees are blooming here in central Alabama. My rose bushes are waking back up and they said a high of 79 today.

Tomorrow, back into the 60's, though. :D

Springtime in la also. It's absolutely gorgeous outside. Clear blue skies with highs near 80.My centipede lawn is still brown but won't be long until it's green and lush. Azealeas are all in bloom. My weeds are doing fabulous also. Nice, green, dense and tall :ggreen: To me there's nothing more beautiful than spring along the gulfcoast.
