Dennis I am sure your father will be smiling when he see that scene. You know he is still with you in spirit and I am sure he is loving you for thinking of having a fishing memorial for him

Thanks once again for the prayers and concerns. It was a WONDERFUL send off, there was over the 100 expected in attendance, a LOT of his Native American friends from the rez....and as God as my witness, the the COOLEST thing happened. The local VFW Post 2290 did a military service for him and JUST as they finished the 21 gun salute, a "BALD EAGLE" was flying over the lake, made EVERYONE misty eyed to say the least.......it was cool and yet SPOOKY at the same time, Bald Eagles play a HUGE roll in Native American life and see one soaring overhead sent chills up my spine and still does this morning.

It's been almost 6 weeks since my father passed away and today was a REALLY hard day for me. My sister in law donated a $100 in my dads name to RTA Hospice and they put a "Gold Leaf" on the "Tree of life" in their facality, well today they had the ceremony, I got so choked up I couldn't speak, they asked me to put one of the screws in to attach it to the tree

((HUGS)) my friend. I know how those hard days kinda pop up. I just go with them and let the tears flow. I then try to think of all the wonderful memories.
