I'm sad today

#1 Postby alicia-w » Thu Mar 02, 2006 9:58 am

Our secretary has been having problems with severe headaches and the other secretary( the one who drives me nuts with her maniacal cackling...)

Anyway, our secretary came up to me this morning and said she was putting in her retirement papers today! Her last day is the 17th of March. She is such a nice person but is also VERY good at her job. While she is really sick and I know this atmosphere doesnt help her health, I'm really sad to see her go.

Now the mad hen woman will actually have to work for a change. I dont know how she's gonna react to that.

I know you must feel sad for loosing her. How long have you worked with her? "The mad hen woman" will miss her a lot more than you will!!!!!!! She probably never realized how much work was being done while she was cackling!!!

Will you have a retirement party for her?

She's been here about three years. She learned everything from scratch and is just a stellar admin person.

she said she wants nothing, but another gal and i will probably abduct her and take her down to the beach for lunch.

That sounds nicer than a big party.
