You could ask him that. By the way, welcome to Storm2K! Enjoy it here, MScoastcane!

This person(MScoastcane) was banned from S2K a long time ago and finally activated this account he had snuck in. He won't be doing anything from S2K. Edit by vbhoutex.

I got 3 questions i like to ask Max Mayfield.
1)Will Emily be upgraded to a 5?
2)What was Katrina's highest surge by the stats up to this date?
3)Why do people insist that a CAT 1 or 2 is considered weak?

CHRISTY from where you got this information? As my fellow moderator said the host of Talking Tropics has not announced anything about Max Mayfield being a guest in his show tonight.

I am not scared at all. If this is going to be a busy season I want to know so when one or more than one of those big canes comes near my back door I will be prepare. No sense in getting worked up in March and I think it would be interesting to hear what he has to say.

Sorry if I insist but it has to be clear to all from where you got the information because at the link I posted above there is no information about Max Mayfield being a guest. If you provide a link it would be good.

I would delete this thread because talking tropics is on at 9pm hosted by Mike Watkins. Scroll down to March 2nd.

MAX MAYFIELD LIVE TONIGHT FROM NORFOLK, VIRGINIA

Make plans now to be here tonight for a very special LIVE broadcast of Max Mayfield speaking at Nauticus in Norfolk, Virginia. The director of NOAA’s Tropical Prediction Center-National Hurricane Center—Max Mayfield—will speak at Nauticus at The National Maritime Center on Thursday, March 2, at 7 p.m. Mayfield’s remarks will be presented in conjunction with the opening of Treasures of NOAA’s Ark, a new exhibit opening March 4 that showcases artifacts used by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) during its 200-year history. HurricaneTrack.com's Jesse Bass will be there and will broadcast the talk LIVE right here. There is no charge to see the live video feed and all you have to do is visit the homepage, right here, near 7pm tonight. Of course, if something goes wrong in the technical sense, the broadcast will not happen. You never know when the gremlins will strike- but we'll keep our fingers crossed that everything will work fine. We will also archive the video for future playback here and at HurricaneLiveNet.com. So, drop by around 7pm tonight for our special live broadcast. [/img]

There you go. Someone got a little too excited about the big man appearing live. It is indeed going to be streamed live on hurricanetrack.com tonight- unless gremlins attack. It's all up to Jesse.....the pressure is on.
