How Many East Coast Landfalling Storms Will We See?
I say we will see around four eastern U.S. coast landfalls. Of the four landfalls, here are the areas which I think will get them on the eastern U.S. coast...
Carolinas - 3 landfalling storms; 1 tropical storm; 2 hurricanes; 1 major hurricane
New England/eastern Canada - 1 brush from tropical storm or hurricane; no landfalls
Eastern/southeastern Florida coast - 1 landfalling storm; 1 hurricane; 1 major hurricane
What are your thoughts?

hum... im not so sure we will see that much activity, time will tell! i want another month to see SSTs, troughs, and wind patterns. if all comes together, you could be right on. I do think we will see LaNina weaken, and perhaps bring on negitive ENSO conditions. Im sure all of us living on the coast are also living on the edge.
