Last night was beautiful and I actually saw people in shorts outside - that's alittle too early for me.

HOWEVER, when I got home after work and food shopping, I did change into a t-shirt and shorts for in the house.

I have the window cracked open now in the bedroom. The fresh air is WONDERFUL! :D

Our signs of spring are the tabieua trees blooming. Such a cheerful yellow color. I actually went and bought one last Fri after I got paid. It was a 3 gallon potted on that is about 4 feet tall. We planted it in the front yard.

Ours never closes either. I guess in the northern states it is a warm weather thing only. Wierd.

Around here, the newer Dq (sorry, my cap won't work on q for some reason) are open year-round. However, the older ones were built for summer use only, and the buildings are not insulated - that's why they close.

Our DQ's stay open year round too. Our first sign of spring is the "spring peepers". Those annoying frogs that hang out in ponds.

For us the first sign is when the peepers emerge usually on a few at first but then it gets so loud its amazing...this year they came out Friday night in full chorus.

Ours is when we have to turn the A/C on. We did yesterday, and it looks like we'll need the heat again by mid-week during the mornings.
