I am a step-grandma!!!!!!!!

Wow I cant believe it! I am a step-grandma! At age 32!!!!!!!! :eek:

My step daughter who is 20 had her baby girl on March 8th! 6 lbs. 13 oz.

Kahlyn Brooke is her name. I just saw her today for the first time and it really hit me. I'm in love! Shes so adorable! Looks alot like her mother.

Guess thats what I get for marrying an older man! LOL! My daughter is 5 and shes an Aunt now! HE HE! But I wouldnt trade it for anything in the world. Babies are the most precious things in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations!

As for aunts and uncles, my sister's son is about 1 month older than my daughter's twin sons... So he is there "uncle." Of course the three of them are so close in age that it is like having a set of triplets around...

It is a little odd... :lol:

My youngest sister was aunt before she was a year old. Our oldest sister's little boy was born on Sept 3 before my youngest sister turned 1 on Oct 24. My little sister is only 5 years older than my daughter. If you were to see the two of them side by side you would swear they were sisters, not aunt and niece.

Enjoy being a grandma, it is a special time for you.

I had to wait till I was 54 to be a Grandma. My kids waited till they were in their 30's. They were really in to their "careers". lol

Amy, I love MeMe!!! That sounds so terrific. One good thing, one of the first things Kahlyn will be saying will be MeMe - right after Mama, MeMe will come out of her mouth.

Oh, little girls are the best.
