If money was no option, where would you move to?

My pick would be Destin, Florida. I visted several times and always been in love with the area. I went as recently as the week of August 4th-11th last summer. Even though it cost me $1200 for the week to rent a condo there and I am still not even halfway there into paying it off. If I ever won the lottery, I would probably relocate there. Only bad thing is that I would still be homesick because I know all of my family is in SE Louisiana. And they would probably never leave. And Destin is a 6 hour drive from home. I know what everyone is probably thinking. Is she crazy? With all the worry of hurricanes and all. Well, I live here in coastal SE Louisiana, so we have the constant threat of hurricanes too. Everywhere you go there will be some weather threat that you will have to deal with. Whether it be tornadoes, earthquakes, wildfires or blizzards. It is just part of life and you deal with it the best way you can. So, if you could move anywhere, where would it be?

If money were no object I would have several places including one in Tahiti or that area. the Destin area, Swiss Alps. Gosh too much land too little time!!!

And if money were no object then you could own your own jet and visit family or fly them in whenever you wanted. :D

Neither one of us ever flown in a plane before. I always wanted to though. My mom will never set foot on a plane, no matter what you say to her. And she also does not drive out of our local area. She refuses to even drive an hour drive from our home to New Orleans. And the traffic is really bad in Destin in the summer especially on HWY 98. That is about the only thing that I don't care for in Destin. It is bumper to bumper. But, so is Houma now.

I would buy a plane and spend time with both my daughters and their families. I would fly to visit and meet friends all over the place and then I would revisit some of my favorite places like Maui and Aruba. So if I win a whole bunch of money, you guys can count on me coming to visit!!!! :D :D

Hawaii (Kauai) or Alaska. It's a toss up! LOL And quite the contrast......but realistically, it would probably be a town in Ohio, called Athens. Very quaint, where my husband went to college and where there are many state parks, with hiking trails, gorges, waterfalls. I'd probably settle on Ohio so we can still see family.

I'd go anywhere in Florida, perhaps Arizona or Colorado. But my top pick right now is gonna surprise you. I want to live in Syracuse, NY someday hopefully soon.

Id go to Ocracoke Island NC and probably live out my days there. A second choice would be coastal Maine.

I would own a souped up RV and go everywhere all the time here in the states. And would just travel, travel, travel. And my solid home would be on the water somewhere here in Fla. Not sure if the east coast or west, but it would not be a major city.

I would like to live in the middle of my very own three hundred acres near a small town. I love the Withlacoochee River area in Sumter County Florida. Also, Northern California has to be one of the most beautiful areas I've ever seen, but I don't think I could deal with the fires and floods.

First would be to buy a beautiful home in Western PA...maybe near Altoona and get a seaside house in Ocean City MD with my own beach, then get to see what I want to see. The hubby wants to move to Wabasha (sp?) MN to go Ice Fishing, I told him Alaska:)

Ahhh dreams....

I'd continue to live in Galveston (I've sworn that I'd never move from here), but I might buy a winter retreat in Australia. :)

I would stay right here in Lafayette but probably in a different house. I'd build a house with a big wraparound porch with rocking chairs all over.
