A 510, free flat-panel upgrade, and all-in-one printer for $35.

When did printers get so inexpensive??? I can finally scan all my old family pics and stuff! :)

Duckie, I have an all in one and it rocks! I use the copier and fax more than the scanner. I thought I would scan more than I actually do, but it is a great thing to have. :D

enjoy the new toy. I was tempted to get a new desktop with the duo processor and stuff but I wanted a laptop. My computer is basically used for surfing the net so it serves the purpose and then some. :D

Shawn when does your new toy arrive?? I am enjoying mine..sooo much. I can't believe it's as fast as my desktop and it's only a 1.4ghz. I guess it's because it has a graphics card that rocks?? Wireless is awesome. Let me know when your new toy arrives Shawn and enjoy!!!

Unrelated nerdy side note: Is your computer a laptop? if not, you'll want to make sure to put a battery backup between the computer and generator. Most generators put out very unstable power, which is bad for computer power supplies. A battery (in all laptops, and in battery backups) will absorb the power "peaks" and fill in the power "valleys".

Thanks for the info. The main computer is a regular big computer but my husband also has a laptop which we used during the hurricane some. I did have the surge protector plugged in but I guess that would not help much.
