Ah me, oh my! Just when friends and family had great hopes for my continued recovery - a semblance of normal life, hope of me earning enough to pay the bills, and expectation of seeing me out socializing again.... I've had a backslide! I'm hooked again on S2K!! :wink:

Did I plan to work today? yes :roll:

Do I need the money to pay bills? yes :eek:

But, I want to know what's happening to THIS "family" and I've fallen behind and out of touch. :cry:

It's only ___ (tooo few) days to, gulp, {{whispered very, very softly}} hurricane season

Tornados are ripping up my dear Midwest.

Dennis is buried in snow in AZ.

So much data now in from last year, so many great new theories expoused for this year.

Argghhhh, somebody get me a tranq, I don't think I can tear myself away again for the next 9 months!! What will I do when the savings is gone?? :eek:

Anyone else ever suffered from this entertaining & absorbing affliction, S2KD ("D" for dependancy)? From the number and frequency of posts here, sounds like we could sure count a few others in this category! :hehe:

Let's see...since I got home from classes at 1:15 I had planned to

(1)clean out the refrigerator (my sis tends to accumulate little bits of left-overs but never eat them)
(2)run a load of laundry
(3)at least swiffer the floors, if not damp-mop them
(4)straighten up/clean the magazine stacks under the coffee table
(5)water the patio and front walk plants
(6)take the dog out instead of letting her sleep all afternoon
(7)call (for the fifth time) to straighten out an on-line order
(8)start grading all the papers I received in classes today (next week is finals week)

How far have I gotten on my list???

NADA -- At about 1:45 I began checking all my email reply notifications for S2K, and my other ambitions have disappeared!!

Oh, well, as Scarlett O'Hara so succinctly put it, "Tomorrow is another day"
