Diet Dr. Pepper and Diet Coke

When I'm in an area that serves Mr. Pibb (we don't have them here), I usually get one. They remind me of childhood trips because I always got them when we went through areas that had them.

It's too difficult to choose only 1: Diet Pepsi, Diet Dr. Pepper, or Diet IBC Root Beer! :D

I like Mt. Dew first and then Dr. Pepper

None of that diet crap for me, I guess thats why I'll never lose this extra 20-30lbs.

Dr Pepper. Any soda with "diet" at the front just doesn't seem to taste right.

Holley you're so right. They gave me a regular coke instead of a diet coke for lunch the other day and I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Tasted pretty sweet!!!

I rarely drink carbonated drinks. It makes me burp all the time I am drinking it.

The wierd thing about "diet" sodas (at least those containing Nutra Sweet) is that they are actually sweeter than regular sodas...nutra sweet is sweeter than real sugar.

It has been proven in studies than when one consumes sweet foods/drinks one's appetitie increases. so those that drink diet sodas with nutra sweet actually make themselves hungrier. (if need be i might be able to find the source but keep in mind this is something i studied in Psychology about 12 years ago) :D

Oh, I voted Diet Coke, but probably would have voted Diet Dr. Pepper had the option been there when I first voted. I drink both, but DDP has a slight edge.

I actually PREFER diet over regular. I drink several glasses a day and couldn't stand to have my teeth coated with all that sugar. yuk! I can brush my teeth and drink some of my diet dp without getting that yukky taste in my mouth and feel like I need to brush them again, like I do if I drink the regular stuff.

I drink plenty of water too. I seem to always have something to sip on sitting around.

I think for the purpose of this poll, Mtn. Dew is considered Pepsi. So, I have to go with that.

Mine is a tie between Diet Dr. Pepper and Diet Barq's root beer. I don't drink regular soft drinks at all anymore. Unless I go someplace and that is all they have. I don't like regular soft drinks because they are too sweet, and they carry tons of calories plus carbs. I need to lay off the carbinated drinks because of my IBS. I mostly like them because of the caffine because I don't drink coffee. And sometimes need something to keep my going while I am at work.
Mt. Dew is my least favorite! Ew, I would almost would rather die of thirst. It must be a northern thing. Because hardly anyone drinks it down here. When I went up to Cedar Rapids, Iowa all they had was pepsi and Mt. Dew. It was hard to even find a place that sold coke!
