Just got southerngale's PM about the off topic post....

I was there too!

I was awesome and as she said...it exceeded my expectations. They are one band that sound just as good live as they do on CD...even though JBJ can't hit those high notes anymore

I can't wait to see the pics. We were on the floor but towards the back...where he set up the FIRST stage.

Hey SG...here's something you might not have got...my wife got a look, point and a wink from JBJ! When he first got up on stage...she was the only one in our immediate area with her hands raised and screeming (somewhat embarrassing)...he looked right at her, pointed and winked at her.

I almost had to perform CPR on her. If it had been Richie...I would have had too. I actually had to remind her once that she was married

She gave me a ..."Yeah....whatever..." look.

She was probably getting back at me for all my gaga eyes over the ice dancer from the American Ice dancing team, Tanith Belbin. Man she's pretty.

Also...when JBJ sang "Bed of Roses" in the crowd...I would like to say the women in my general area were especially cruel.

As he walked down, he kissed on girl and hugged her. The cries of "B**CH" could be heard echoing all around.

Man...you gals are tough. Guys, in an opposite situation, would have been yelling for him to go for it.

Cruel cruel cruel. :D

Alicia is right. JEALOUS! He shouldn't be hugging or kissing on anyone but ME!

Your wife is very lucky, AFM. I didn't get a look, point, and a wink from JBJ, but I did get a smile. I was telling Frick, Brent, and a few others about it last night. I'm not sure they believed me though. LOL
But the point...now that confirms it was directed at her. I was just a few feet away from him and it certainly looked like he was looking at me and then smiled. I was waving one of my arms in the air while trying to take a picture with the other, all the while drooling all over the place and singing and screaming...I could see where that might make him smile. I'm sure I was a sight. Everyone around me was all into it, except this one guy to my right...I think I whacked him a few times with my arm and my camera, but that was ok...he needed to get crazy with the rest of us or get out of the way. :P

AFM...I totally agree about them sounding as good live as they do on CD. If he missed a high note though, I surely didn't notice.Image
They sounded awesome!!

I have some great pics of Richie...show your wife when I get them up. It took forever to go through and resize them all and name them...I had like 127 on my digital camera. I just need to upload them now, but I was too tired to do it last night after I finished resizing them all.

hmmm.....too many to post in this thread. I need to get one of those places that do slideshows or whatever. I normally use my Yahoo Geocities to upload and store and link from there, but can't put 100 pics in this thread. That would be a crawl-uppers nightmare!

Ok, I finally got the pictures up. I used Community Webshots. There's 117 of them. Although there are a few that didn't turn out so great, there are a ton of awesome ones too!! Do the slideshow or use the arrow buttons to view them all so you don't miss out on the best ones! I tried to put them in the order I took them....enjoy!!

I put captions on a lot of them as well. I tried to contain myself. hehe Image

And waste that precious memory card space on ME? Oh nooo...only if I could have managed a pic with him...then you'd have seen a smile bigger than Texas!

I received the credit card from filling out that credit app. It wasn't quite what I expected. I was expecting a plain Jane MasterCard. Instead, it says BON JOVI on it and has a picture of the band on it. hehe
I don't charge much, but I'll have to use this one just to show it off, then pay the balance when the statement comes, to avoid finance charges.
