Keep the faith Houstonia! The rain sure came as a surprise for us today. There are lots of storms firing north of you so hopefully they will move into SE Texas later this evening.

I hope you get some much needed rain in the Houston area. It's trying to reach me but so far, it's just a little too far north.

At least we're seeing something in the vicinity! That's progress.

I hope your weather pattern does change soon before the summer really digs in!

Did anyone get any rain since they last posted?

 Well, they got about 8 or 9 inches in Liberty county yesterday.

It got dark, the wind blew and there was a fantastic sunset. It looked like the gods were at war in the skies.

But we got no rain. Well, okay I think I counted about 10 drops. The ground wasn't even wet.

What's that they say about large cities creating their own weather?
