I should follow up on my last post with the following...
While the atmosphere is finally moist enough to produce snow and/or ice pellets (sleet), these conditions will be short-lived. Just looking at radar imagery, the trailing edge of the precipitation is quickly advancing northward. Therefore, before we (Omaha) gets a chance to pick up any sizable accumulations, the snow will end.
We'll have to see what happens as the system progresses eastward... That will be our last chance of anything accumulating.

Thanks for the comments.
Taking another look outside... looks like the next hour or so will be rather intense for the Omaha area. A heavy band of snow is moving out of Cass County into Sarpy. Already in Sarpy County, the visibility has dropped to 1/4mi with heavy snow.
On the flip side... the trailing edge of the snow (all snow, not just the heavy band) is approaching southern Cass County. Therefore, after this "round" ends, things should quiet down for several hours... if not for the entire night.
