Everyone is addicted to something. What is one thing you are really addicted to and would like to cease and fire.....

Me... I quit smoking 6 months ago and I can't stop eating.

Smoking is it for me, I wish I could quit, but the stress is way too much right now.

Mary - everytime I see a post from you, I see your sig. And I think - wait, I already answered this thread!!!! LOL

Then I read your post about smoking, nope that isn't me....he he.

My addiction - Pepsi. One or two a day. I cannot live without it. When we run out this entire family cries - oh no, we're out of Pepsi!!! They know I'm pretty addicted....sometimes an iced tea will do, so maybe it's the caffeine but honestly, it's also that distinct regular Pepsi taste. Been addicted to it for about 30 years now.

Only time I gave it up was while pregnant. People would say drink Caffeine free Pepsi but I'd say no, it doesn't taste like regular Pepsi. So I gave it up completely each time.

Well Mary (the other Mary)

I am a Cokeaholic and I readily admit it. I wish I only drank one or two a day! Probably woudn't be as heavy as I am if I didn't.....but I panic when I don't have another Coke left in the house!

So there.....we are different even in that!!! LOL

Different yet alike. I panic when we're out of Pepsi and if there's one can left, I hide it in the vegetable bin. NO ONE goes in there, since they have to prepare dinner to do so. LOL My Pepsi is safe with the carrots......

My mom had a friend years ago who was addicted to Coke. She drank about 6-8 bottles a day. This was back when they came in 16 oz glass bottles. Add that up! She began her day with one, had one mid-morning, then for lunch, mid-day, dinner and a few in the evening.

Question....what's your middle name? Anne here. Now if you say Ann or Anne, this is going to be creepy!

Smoking. I should quit, I know I should quit, I don't want to though. I still enjoy it too much. However, it's taking a giant bite our of my wallet along with gas prices, heating prices, etc. Within the last 4 weeks, I've had $2,000 worth of things that needed to be done - car, cat dental care, fill a deficit in our joint account due to higher gas bills and one good thing, getting tickets to go see my Dad in June. Oh, and my company, Aztar, is being bought out by another casino company , Pinnacle Entertainment. I'm reeling from sticker/job concern shock. Also, my cat being diagnosed with diabetes threw me for a loop. So I don't think I'll be quitting anytime soon.

Biting my nails, and smoking are my #1 bad addictions. I am afraid to quit the smoking because I am scared to death of gaining an enormous amount of wieght. And as of right now I am doing alot of bike riding and have been eating much healthier foods. Maybe when I get my new life style underway for another 6 months I may kick the habit. I really want to, its coming soon. :D

My addiction is books. I can not read just one. Every where I go if there is something to read if I have to wait, I pick it up and read it.
