It came down pretty well here in Miami.
As for the dry spring, this rain is just a blip on the screen. This system will pass later on tonight, and then we'll have another month when we barely sniff any rainfall.

Really nice pictures! THANKS for posting those.
Those plants and grass almost had a smile on their face, did you notice?
Those were welcome rains, I did some research, some rain totals Thursday in and around the state:-
Tampa International NIL
Sarasota 0.67in
Homestead 0.70in
Bradenton 0.78in
Hialeah 0.85in
West Kendall 1.01in
Miami International 1.06in
Miami Beach 1.38in
Marathon, Keys 1.41in
West Palm Beach 1.76in
Coral Springs 2.88in
Pompano Beach 2.55in
West Boynton Beach 2.09in
Boynton Beach 3.63in
Many spots got next to nothing, even sites close to the ones that got deluged. So either you were lucky, or you werent.

Yeah, we probably won't see that again until Memorial Day.
Now, we re-enter the boredom that is March-April-May South Florida weather. Feel free to skip the AFD's until June 1. LOL I get tired of hearing about low PWATs and the very stable upper levels. I much prefer to read about isentropic lift, helicity and CAPE values. hehe
