Depends On Waht you Want to Do...
I downloaded a program called StormTrakker, which had input for all storms and had model verification stats. Graphically it wasn't all that impressive and it was very manual...but it was good for what I wanted it to do. I'd post a link but the one I have for it is dead. Not sure the program is even around any more...if anyone knows please let me know.

I use matlab. It is very easy to produce the track and intensity graphics for tracking and or forecasting. The only thing is that you have to write the programs yourself and need a special ascii coastline and or world file. I really like that program, plus, you can do a whole lot more with it as well

I have one on my old computer (has a fried modem, but the rest of it works). I'll open it up and see, but I think mine was also StormTrakker. It was pretty simple to use...had basic graphics. But the wildest thing was when you animated a storm's track from the point of origin to the current position, you could turn the sound on and it played a wav of wind sounds to add to the effect.
Was that StormTrakker?
Also, I have the EOTS screensaver on my work computer.

Stormtrakker is the only way to go.......
And it's FREE...
http://bellsouthpwp.net/w/x/wxpgmr/
(If you like it and use it a lot, I'd recommend sending Mike some $$$, though. I'm amazed such a program is still free.)
Basically, I don't see the point of hurricane tracking software that doesn't include model data; there are only about 50 billion nice-looking websites that pretty much INSTANTLY update a storm's track and show the official forecast. Why bother with a program (or worse, spend actual $$$) just to do that.
Stormtrakker now AUTOMATICALLY ingests the text models (GFDL, the 4 NHC models, and UKMET Bracknell) and plots them for a storm.
Also, the database has EVERY storm and EVERY MODEL RUN FOR EVERY STORM going back to Andrew.
That is, you can go look at Andrew, and for EVERY forecast every six hours you can see the NHC track AND the models.
It's tremendously educational because what people "remember" about NHC forecast tracks and models for old storms is often wrong.
The new 6.0 version will inlclude software that will allow people (with a bit more work) to get data from graphical model maps (GFS, NOGAPS, etc) and convert it to a line track in the program.

Actually...I Use....
FYI...for any of my posted forecast tracks...I use a combination of an Excel Spreadsheet with an attached chart for the graphical XY representation of the storm points and Microsoft Access to hold relational database information for verification stats.
I'll clean up the code for anyone who has MS office 2000 or greater if you're interested in messing around with a very manual product. It works for me...
