interesting cyclone phase analysis says upper level may make transition into a warm core system! my opinion i say it aint gonna happen!

Even if it is warm core.. it still needs to have convection at the core. That is pretty tough to do with SSTs below 20C

Agreed, but not impossible (remember Hurricane Michael in 2000?). However I agree very very unlikely, especially this time of year.
