that superstorm also sent a derecho across the Florida peninsula and winds gusted to hurricane force in Many areas. In Orlando at the time, the airport saw a gust to 70mph. That 110mph gust in the panhandle is quite insane also.

Indeed it is. This one had it all; blizzard, lightning, storm surge, high winds and even tornadoes. Not to mention the fact that it encompassed such a large area :eek: :eek: :eek:
