Me.... I leave the garbage to go out by the front door every morning. My husband always goes to work and never bothers to take the garbage out on his way to the car. There are several times he has had to move it to get out the door...

Your Spouse Drives You Crazy
Name one thing your spouse or significant other does that completely drives you crazy and you doubt he/she will never change?

Oh my hubby has a few, dirty sox left all over the house, on the couch, near the bed, under the computer desk but his most annoying habit? Asking:
"What was the question again?"
Ugh, I hate that. After your long schpiel you realize he wasn't even listening in the first place! I know to him - it's all bla, bla, bla......LOL
I give info in choppy sentences now and he has the gall to say I'm leaving out info!
Men!!!!

ROFL!!
About the socks..... a guy's wife at work told me that he will take his dirty socks off and lay them across the heater vent. They live in a trailer so the vent is on the floor. She said this is not a good way to start the day. LOL!!

My husband often repeats himself twice. My husband often repeats himself twice!
And he constantly clears his throat.
I used to say his snoring but he went and had that sleep study done and now sleeps with a cpap machine at night. I used to yank his pillow constantly (couldn't bring myself to hit him) so he would roll over and quit snoring. Right before his study he would roll over and continue snoring, not missing a Z. Now i'm getting the best rest i've had in years.

OK, I don't have a present spouse. THIS could be the reason WHY! LOL!
My ex insisted that you take your shoes off before entering the house
(no, he wasn't Asian), and, had a FIT if I put my purse on the kitchen
counter. We had separate ICE TRAYS - mine was in the 'fridge - his
was in the extra upright freezer - "don't touch my ice!" Germ freak?
You decide.
Single is fun - they're MY ice trays! HA! I touched them! Oh, no - my
purse is on the kitchen table! Too bad.... Was that MUD on my
shoes? Oh, well, I'll sweep it up when I feel like it...

After nearly 33 years of marriage, I've finally figured out that I'd have better success teaching the used mugs/glasses/plates/flatware to JUMP INTO THE DISHWASHER from where my husband has carefully placed them than to have finally convinced him to actually put them INSIDE the dishwasher instead of ON TOP of it!
Another never-to-be-remedied quirk is his penchant of leaving drawers (nightstand, dresser, kitchen, whatever) just somewhat open instead of shut all the way.
In all fairness, I'm sure he could quickly rattle off a list of my irritating habits, too....

Yeah, I'm sure we all have our wacky quirks and requests.
BUT, separate ice cube trays? Annette - that's crazy!!!! LOL I bet you were tempted to drop something in his besides just water....a few frozen peas, oops, how they'd get in there? A few drops from a fudgesickle, sorry honey. Wow, he sounds picky!
Diane - my entire family is like your husband. They rarely throw garbage away, never load the DW unless I'm sick or complaining too much, hang coats up, put shoes away unless there's company coming over. I wish I could back in time and delegate some of this but they all say it's been this way so long now, they can't change! If I were working 40 hours a week they might have to!
My annoying habits would be doing the wash but never quite getting the clean laundry put away. Right now as I type we have a clean basket of laundry out in the upstairs hall. Years ago hubby said - take two days a week, Wednesday and say Saturday and do nothing but laundry and ironing. Ironing - ha! I'd love to even get that half way caught up. Sigh.....I used to be more organized than this, way back when, in my first marriage. But that hubby was never home, out catting around and hanging out with the guys (sometimes). He was never underfoot and I could get to my work. That's my excuse - my family is usually underfoot - even the dog! Which one would I like more - asbentee husband out catting around or loyal, true blue hubby underfoot - you figure it out.....I'll take the messy house anyday.

OMG! We're married to the same man!!!
I can't tell you how many times I've buzzed around the corner into the kitchen only to be met with a cabinet door smashing me in the face. That man CANNOT close a door! Every morning after he leaves for work I head back to the bathroom and close the closet door he left hanging open, turn out the lights that are still on, and hang up the dirty towels flung on the floor. Then I head to the kitchen and close the pantry and cupboard doors. Then it's out to the detached garage to close those doors so the dogs can't escape. While in the garage, I pick up the 2 or 3 water glasses that migrated out there the previous evening. Back to the house to make the rounds and pick up all the dishes that were strewn about after I went to bed. My dogs are neater!
