I don't think your question is clear. Are you asking only about Katrina? If you are, then there is no need for this thread. The surge from Katrina has been discussed, cussed and a few other things in several threads.
If you are asking anyone who was affected by a hurricane this past season what surge they experienced then I say go ahead with the answers.

No surge from Kat in my local area, but from Rita, just 5 miles south, the surge was around 15 feet.
