I need suggestions -- what are some songs that have universal appeal? In other words, don't tell me your favorite song because it might be some obscure something-or-other that I won't recognize (no offense, but we all have different tastes in music, movies, etc.). You guys probably wouldn't recognize all my faves either.
What are some songs that anyone could play at a party or get-together that everyone would recognize and enjoy -- songs that almost everyone probably has in their collection, whether they'll admit it or not? Any genre, any artist - rock, country, soundtrack, R&B, love songs, etc.
Here's my library so far (don't laugh!). It includes songs I've uploaded from CD so I can play them on the playlist or so I can get rid of the CD since I only like one or two songs on it. Obviously, these don't all have universal appeal...because they're on MY playlist.
