I thought our governor had a special thing going with Venenuela so we could get cheaper gas. I guess that did not go as planned. I just hate to see the gas going up much more.

Up to $2.44 at the gas station right by my neighborhood. At this rate, nobody will be able to afford to travel for summer vacations.

I wonder how much air fare has gone up in the past month? We better stock up on our gas cans for hurricane season generators. The pumps may be empty or outragious prices.

Yeah... and if we have another Northwestern Gulf Hurricane threat $4 might be conservative.

I know my friend just took a round trip on a plane to see her parents in Decatur, Illinois for $200. Yeah, for Hurricane Katrina last year, you had to drive 30 minutes or more from my house to get gas. And when you did find a place that had gas, the line stretched out for miles. Luckily, we only had to run our generator for 3 days after Katrina.

OK... I just checked http://www.gasbuddy.com and I noticed that Rhode Island (where Im from) actually has cheaper gas than the Houston area!!! They have always been 10-20 cents more than here!! Thats really just nuts.. Esp. since Houston has all the oil refineries.. Thats just crazy!!!

i'm pretty ticked off about now. we were in southeastern AZ last week and gas prices were around 2.41 to 2.50. when we left the florida panhandle on friday, the 24th, gas was 2.60. gas prices in our part of AZ did not increase at all the entire ten days we were there. when we returned to florida, gas was 2.70!!!!! what the heck drives a ten cent increase in a week when it didnt move at all in the boonies of AZ!!!!???!!!! i also would LOVE to know why it's 30 cents more herein FL than in southern AZ....
