NGCG Part 3 - Haunted History Tour anyone?
Moderator: S2k Moderators
Oh! Sounds like such a fun idea. Unfortunately, our schedules are already pretty much booked for May. With everybody involved in Spring ball our time is spoken for. Then, we try to squeeze in some fun time--- sitting at a ball park for hours on end listening to some crazy parents scream at their kids and other peoples' kids is really not a whole lot of fun. Sorry... had a bad experience last weekend. Anyway... I hope y'all have fun and let those of us not able to attend know how it goes.
Also... my mother's been to the casinos a couple times since Katrina. She says they are running very smoothly. Since they have hotels, they might be a good option. Just a thought...

Okay y'all - here are the two restaurant choices:
Redfish Grill
Bacco
Both are Brennan's Restaurants and both are very good. We need to agree on the time so I can get the reservations made. This will be a graduation week-end, so we don't want to wait too long. LSU_Weatherguy is working the hotel angle, and we still need to check out the parking situation.
Also, those attending, please PM either me or LSU_Weatherguy with your email address, that way we can send info to the group.
Thanks!
Cindy

Never been to Bacco, but Redfish Grill ain't as good as it used to be. I got a BBQ Shrimp Po-Boy a few weeks back and it was all pepper and worchestershire. Thing with Bacco's is that it's fairly semi-dressy.
>>Brunnings is gone, too
Yeah I hate that. My brother had been a bartender there for about 10 years. First the old 1850's building fell into the lake during Hurricane Georges in 1998, then the landlubber building was left as a slab-only after Katrina. I miss Brunnings.

I miss Brunnings. I miss Mosca's. I miss Mr. B's. I miss Bella Luna. Oh hell, I could go on and on.....
Dress at Bacco is casual. They allow jeans. No cut offs or t-shirts allowed though.
