Thats correct they're checking possible dam damage...that sounds wierd...but the eufala dam may have been damaged...

Any chance of flooding in the area as a result of the dam issues?

Doubtful, those things are built really really well, any damage is probably superficial

0020 UNK 4 W MELROSE CHEROKEE KS 3703 9503 HOMES DAMAGED AND POWERLINES DOWN. SEMI TRUCK BLOWN OFF ROAD NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF HIGHWAYS 122 AND 166. (SGF) - possible tornado?

AT 803 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR AND STORM SPOTTERS CONTINUED TO TRACK A VERY DANGEROUS TORNADO. THIS TORNADIC STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR SALLISAW...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 50 MPH. A POSSIBLE TORNADO HAS BEEN REPORTED...TAKE COVER NOW! SOME LOCATIONS NEAR THE PATH OF THIS STORM INCLUDE...BRUSHY... MULDROW...COTTONWOOD...ROLAND AND SHORT.

That "possible" tornado has been confirmed on the ground by channel NBC, ABC and Fox out of tulsa

There's about 1000 people without power in the metro maybe she is one of them? No reports of death or major injuries either so hopefully she's ok :)

How do you get storm reports out of there. The local tulsa nws site does not have storm reports on it's front page.
